Supervision, Authority & Control

• Head of Civil Administration at Divisional level and ensures efficiency, rule of law and government business in Districts.
• Provides help, guidance and assistance to Deputy Commissioners as well as Divisional heads of Federal Government agencies (PESCO, NHA, SNGPL, PTCL etc).
• Acts as overseer of all religio-political, developmental and law & order activities.
• Decentralized authority of Provincial Government at regional Level.
• Appellate authority in Revenue Cases.
• Approving authority in Revenue matters (Land Acquisition Cases etc).
• Administrative control over revenue officers.
• Chairman Regional Transport Authority
• Membership in different authorities/institutions like GDA, KDA & APS etc.
• any other task assigned by the Provincial Government.
